Whelen Man went to be with the Lord yesterday following a tough battle. A lot of you will remember the many posts he made on this site. He will be a wealth of knowledge and a fine fellow we'll miss.

Larry and I met when he came down to check out my jeep I had for sale. Our friendship continued through occasional local TNDeer get-togethers, but mostly through his sending me ribbing shots about all the deer blood he was getting on "my" jeep.

I'm sad that I didn't get to see him since the Knoxville hospital. But I reckon I can hold off until I see him on that Day!

Condolences to his lovely bride. He will be missed.
