The deer are wiping out my food plots,really eating hard,no acorns around as best as I can tell....

And they seem to be really using the mineral licks,wonder if its because of the scarce acorns around me this year?

I cant believe you still have clover like that. Mine has been frozen dormant for 2 weeks or so. Im sure your averaging several degrees warmer though. Ill have to check my licks.

All of my plots are mowed down right now too. I shot a deer this morning though that was full of red oak acorns.

Im in the same boat on the plots. They are 1/4in high and traffic is heavy...I think I'll move a camera in there this weekend.
