What yard to sight in for?

I am going to be shooting an encore with 100 grains of triple 7 powder and hornady 250 grain sst How high would you let it hit at 50 yards?

i set mine 1/2" -1" high at 50 yards most of the time,allmost all of my mzloader hunting is limited to 100 yards or less & its nice to be able to hit pinpoints within the distance i figure to see a deer,

I sight mine 1.5" high at 100. That's about 1" high at 50 and 3" low at 160 with 300 gr bullets and 100 gr 777. Take a few shots at 200 yards and see how much it drops, just in case you get a long shot.

i set mine about 1" high at 100....just in case i shoot longer range. Most all of my shots are 100 and less, not more.

I put mine dead on at 100yds..Just hold a tad high for longer shots..Nothing past 150yds..

I do just like Mike243..........1" high at 50 yards. Most of my MZ kills have been way under 50 yards.
