Never have missed opening muzzleloader. Gonna be a little warmer than it has been. If u were able would u hunt saturday or trade it for monday suppose to be in the low 50's.
What would u do?

i would go reguardless of the temp. You may not have as much deer sightings as colder temps would provide, but you should atleast see some kind of movement since rut is kicking in pretty good. To me I myself and countless others hunt in late September when its still 80s and 90s. So why not in the 60s or 70s?
I haven't been in the woods except for the juvenile hunt last weekend so I'm going Saturday no matter what. Don't like the weather but gotta go when I can.

I know i will see deer regardless. hunt bow opener through end of season. Killed my biggest buck in80 degree weather. Work for myself so im gonna switch my days up. Seen many deer running wild lately still a little early though.

If I could hunt two days, and I had the choice of Saturday and Sunday, or Sunday and Monday, I would take Sunday-Monday.

Element of surprise. Come Monday some deer have figured out the game. Go with your gut.
Go as soon as you can get in the woods. Who knows, that biggun may be there Sat, but not Monday, by virtue of someone else's good fortune of you not being there. ;)

I would go Saturday, especially if you have people that hunt near you. Once they start hearing gun shots they will become aware there is danger in the woods. I actually target a farm I hunt that is surrounded by other farms with hunters. I make sure I'm there first and leave last. I always see the most deer opening day of ML

The thing about Saturday is that most people will be in the woods. That alone may move some deer that might otherwise have laid down in the warmer temps. If I were you I'd hunt when I could and possibly save the best for the following weekend. The projected temps should be a little cooler although still not ideal.

Im with BSK. Definately like hunting cooler temps. What about the saturday afternoon front moving in?
They are now forecasting a low of 42 in Nashburg. That means about 38-40 here. That is plenty cold enough for thebucks to move.

The morning temp will not be too warm, you Might catch some early morning movement. and as mentioned before other hunters will move them around during mid day. I plan on sitting all day watching over a water hole.
