What type shell/choke for swamp rabbits?

Got invited to hunt with a beagler for some swamp rabbits in Northern Alabama. I have only hunted "regular" cottontails and usually use a hi-brass #6 with an improved cylinder choke on my 12 gauge. Do I need to change anything for swampers since they're bigger?

I shoot #4s but #6s are fine.

I would prefer a modified choke.

I prefer a full just because that's what I always used in a fixed choke gun when I was a kid.

With dogs, you stand the CHANCE of longer shots, so a modified choke might be better. 4-6 shot will all kill rabbits. I usually use high-brass #6 because that's what is laying around from squirrel hunts. If I was going to go buy shells specifically for what you are doing, I'd probably heavy up to a #5 shot.

Since I am never hunting behind dogs, I've never seen an issue with #6 shot from a killing power standpoint (most shots are very close). The biggest benefit is less pellet count in the meat, in that scenario.
