Food Plots What to plant now?

This is 2nd yr in a row I've sprayed in Sept and no rain to amount of anything. With it being this late what's something good to plant?

Winter wheat, cereal rye, Crimson clover.

I would go with winter wheat or rye. See what others on here think. My opinion is nothing is as green in late season as winter wheat. Sometimes it is so green it looks fake. The deer love it.

Completely agree. Both of those are in our blends because they grow in the bitter cold. Rye more so than wheat

This is exactly what we did...just need more rain.

As others have said, wheat and crimson clover. I've planted that mixture as late as the last week of October and still had green food plots during November.

I planted mid-day today of wheat and clover hoping we get the rain tomorrow. I pulled the trigger on planting it was now or never.
