i want a ruger gp100 but dont know if i should get a 4 or 6 in barrel is 1 better than the other its gonna be an all around shooter plinking camping and maybe some hunting sometime

That is my all time favorite revolver.
I prefer the black grips with the wood inserts with blue finish.

I would go with the 6" myself.

If your going to use it as stated get the 6" barrel. If your going to carry it go with the 4".

What are yall talking about...I carry a Taurus Raging Bull in .454 Casull with an 8" barrel...j/k I do carry my Glock 20SF, its full size. But seriously for carry I wouldn't go over a 5" barrel. For hunting get a 6".

i always thought a desert eagle would carry well. just like in the movies!

just picked up a smith and wesson model 66-3 from a friend with a 4 in barrel
