Trying to decide between doing a semi custom remington 700 build or just buying a sako 85 finnlight. What ever I do the caliber will be either 243 or 260. What do u guys think? I have looked at buying a 700 sps ss for the action and re barrleing and re stocking it but the sps fit and finish leaves a lot to be wanted

If you are going to rebarrel and restock then this is a null point. If you rebarrel and want your barrel finish to match the finish on the receiver you'll have to have all of it bead blasted (which cures the finish problem) and stock fit will be up to whoever beds/inlets the stock (which cures the fit problem).

I am a remmy guy myself but if I had the money I would buy the Sako. The guaranteed 5 shot sub moa means a lot.

Depends on if you want a semi custom 700 or a factory sako. A trued 700 action with a bartlein or other custom barrel leaves little to be desired in the accuracy department, then again the finns sure can make a rifle!
