Deer sausage. I have a whole bunch of breakfast deer sausage. Can yall give me some ideas for uses. I will mix some with regular ground for chili, spaghetti and a of course breakfast time with biscuits and white gravy. Need more uses please.

something that seems to go over well here is to take a pound of sausage fry it up put in a pot with a 1lb block of velveata an a can of rotel let that melt up good an you have a good cheese dip. you can add more sausage or rotel if you like.

Also my old lay makes some good sauage balls. i can get the resipe from her if you woul like it

Thanks for the ideas so far. I forgot about the rotel. I haven't made it in a while and used regular sausage. Deer sausage it will be next time. Also the sausage balls is a good idea. May do some for x-mas.

pizzas, sausage loaf, and stuffed peppers/tomatoes.

Make up some sausage and biscuits/freeze and use for a quick early morn breakfast on the go....hunting!

1 big stock pot, 2 heads of cabbage, cut up and put in boiling water. add 1 tablespoon of salt, 3 heaping tablespoons of black pepper and a real stick of butter. Cook until cabbage is tender then add 2 big cans of diced tomatoes. In the meantime brown 3 pounds of said sausage and 1 pound of regular ground. when done pour it in the pot. Simmer for about an hour or a little longer. While simmering make a skillet of cornbread. When done crumble up cornbread in a big bowl and dip cabbage soup over the top. Eat till ya get full.

You guys are great. This is why I get on tndeer several times a day. I'm going to use all your ideas, well almost. k810329, if you was closer you'd get some thats for sure. You are a true tndeer member to offer that type of assistance for me. LOL.

Headed to the store for cabbage on just a minute. My wife better watch out.

Ok..Ok..Ok.......I guess there's no such thinh as too much deer sausage. Since the stuffed peppers idea came up how bout a recipe. Sausage balls too. I may do the sausage balls for an appetizer on x-mas.

I ate some one time that was rolled in balls about the size of the bouncing balls kids play with and they had add some dales and wrapped a piece of bacon around it and grilled it. Pretty good.

Smoke a fatty.

I was gonna say smoke a fatty, but BigAl beat me to it.

Add it to Zuppa Toscana soup. It is a sausage & potato soup. It has kielbasa & potatoes. I'm sure another sausage added to the kielbasa & potatoes wouldn't hurt a thing. I had a post on here for the Zuppa Toscana soup but it may have been too long ago & went off of here. Good Luck!!
