What "Sound" to use

My success has been off and on when going out for coyotes....almost to the point of if they are there, they will run me over and if they aren't...well I try someplace else. I have an electronic call and have learned a lot from the different calling sequences on it, but my question to the group is.....what sound is the best, dawn/dusk I know that using the alpha male, but the rest of the time i use the jackrabbit call....your thoughts?

This is a video from Randy Anderson. Very good instructions. I think he says in his clips as far a distress sounds it doesn't really make that much difference.

I think the key is to give them a sound they have never heard from another caller. that is why I prefer the variability of open reed mouth calls. no ecallers for me
