There's enough knowledgeable people here to answer just about any question you may have. But for reading material check out dougsmessageboards and hanksmessageboards. Lots of good info there. If you do Facebook check out smokeless shooters groupsharpshooter":1wb2joot said:Gonna have to research the smokeless variety it looks like. When you say "steep learning curve" what is the biggest challenge, just finding the correct powder/bullet combo or what? If y'all know any good websites to read up on them, post them or PM if you don't mind. Thanks
If $500 is the budget, I'd get a CVA Optima V2. That'll leave you a decent bit of cash for a scope.sharpshooter":ji4jtzpp said:Well after reading up on some smokeless guns, looks like I need to stay with a regular ole inline smoke pole, $$$. Not looking to spend more than about $500 for rifle and scope. I had a T/C Omega that I wish I had never sold. Thanks for the information on the smokeless.
