what is the minimum pound pull that will kill a deer? also what pound do you recomend for a 15 year old kid?
okay well im 15 and my bow is old 40 to 50 and i can pull the 50 back fairly easy what would you recomend i move up to? i weigh 130 not the biggest personMaster Chief said:I'm 17 and pull 70. My buddy is 19 and struggles with 65, another buddy(large guy) could draw 70 in the 8th grade.
In other words-depends who you are. I'm sure you'll be fine with anything over 50lbs(maybe even less)

Yes you can just keep your shots under 30 yards.
