Redhorse are great eating, in fact they rival crappie and/or walleye. Not really a trash fish.

That looks to be one of many that all look the same to me, redhorse, carpsuckers, or regular sucker.

just looks like a sucker to me, a redhorse has alot longer nose and has more of a red tint to it than that and both are good eating if you no how to cook them(pressure cooking only IMO)

I thought it was a redhorse whe he caught it but decided to get the confirmation here from the pros. I guess it's a redhorse sucker carp.
