Looks like bumblefoot, but that's usually on the pads of the bottom of the feet.

With it going up the legs and top of foot, id say it was some type of trauma that scraped off the leg scales and it is trying to heal over.

Never seen that either. I did kill one about 10 years ago that had scaly legs. Looked like Hickory trees get sometimes.
 
I killed one with something similar several years back, though he also had weird, black lesions all over his head. I called TWRA and submitted it for testing. I posted the results in this thread.

Sorry, buddy. I'm the world's worst at responding to text messages. It makes me seem like a d*ck, but at least some of the time I'm just super absent minded and forgetful.

Been a great spring so far, but work has been busy, we're in the process of moving (🤮), and I just got back from western OK where I mostly ignored my phone because there was no service anyway.
