What is this?

Found this in a bunch of old arrowheads and thimbles. Anyone know what this is? It's made of stone.

Is is a fossil of a Crinoid (sea lily). It is an animal related to a starfish. That is a part of the stalk. Look up sea lily online and you will see what the animal looked like.
