what is the requirement for mineral content to make something be considered a mineral and not an attractant? I know we have discussed this before, but can't find the threads.

I thought it had to be 51% salt and natural minerals to OK to hunt over, but can't remember.

It is 51% by weight of salt or other mineral and must contain NO non-refined foodstuffs.

The second part of the requirements makes ILLEGAL all of the stuff that has ground up materials such as acorns, corn, rice bran, etc, etc. Unless it is stictly minerals, most of the stuff you see being touted on the hunting show/mags is illegal in TN. The "salt" blocks that contain the corn and other grains are also illegal.
