Yep. Even though I've had no problems with my Kel-Tec, the Ruger looks nicer with better fit/finish. If you need to save every dollar you can though, the Kel-Tec will get the job done at a little cheaper price. Mine's ever jammed on me. The Ruger wasn't out yet when I got my P3AT.
 
I've owned a Kel-tec P3AT and it was a fine pistol. I now have an LCP and it is great, too. Seems a hair nicer with smoother lines and all. With such a small price difference, I'd go with the LCP.
 
Kel-tec for sure! It's a pocket gun so who cares what it looks like. With the money you save buy Hornady Critical Defence and a nice holster.....
 
i got a lcp and love it. My brother has the body gaurd it is nice just alittle bigger with the laser and all.It also has a saftey were the lcp doesnt it dont bother me about the saftey just matter of preference

I have an LCP that I put a set of Crimson trace laser grips on and I really like it alot.... not a single jam so far.... (shich I honestly surprised me)
 
The best, I would have to say is the Walther PPK.

If you're talking pocket .380's, than the title of best belongs to the Rohrbaugh .380

I have to agree with the sig P238. I would sell my LCP and get one tomorrow if the department would let me carry it but we have a policy against SAA
 
I still say the LCP. To me the whole point of a .380 is you can have a very light and small carry pistol. If you're gonna go with a gun as large/heavy as the SIG or Walther, why not go with a more powerfull 9mm the same size/weight like a Kahr PM9 or Kel-Tec PF-9? Nothing in .380 is lighter/smaller than the P-3AT and the LCP is very close behind. That Rohrbaugh weighs 5.2 oz more than the Kel-Tec. That's a pretty substantial difference in a daily pocket carry gun. Also there's no external safety to fiddle with or accidentally bump off on the LCP or P-3AT like there is on the Walther and SIG, just point and pull the trigger. Simpler is better for a carry gun IMO. If all you want is a .380 for the target range, then by all means get the larger, heavier SIG or Walther. For defense carry, I don't think any .380 can beat the Ruger or Kel-Tec. Just my opinion.
 
I used to have a Walther PPK/S, I hated it. Its too big and heavy to be a pocket pistol, it was only marginally accurate, and it is the only handgun I have owned(and I own/have owned many) that would bite the web of my hand. I have a few guns that I regretted selling, that one is not on that list. I have an LCP, and I cant think of a better pocket pistol for everyday carry.
