I myself have had success with many different types but I love the 7 card stud mix for the all year forage it provides.

I was just about to say the same thing.Day in and day out it cannot be beat.Bushhog strips a little at a time I can keep the ground covered with fresh corn all season long.

All are great choices. It always seems that every farm has stuff that works best, it may be different but best for each.

I had someone give me enough round up ready corn today to plant my entire food plot and then some.... I've never used it, I cant wait to put it in the ground and see how it goes!!

Depends on the time of year and the purpose. My personal favorite way to plant is to plant rr soybeans in April with rows of corn planted in patterns that form funnels to my stand sites. Then as soon as the soybean leaves start yellowing, I oversow heavily with wheat.

Good idea there.
