Im looking a Rem 870 Express but its only chambered in 3in but its 26 in barrel, and the other is an 870 super mag in 3 in chamber and a 26 in barrel...I dont know what to do, I torned on the trade off between the chamber and length..... It can't be a super mag and only a 3". I have a super mag, but I have lately only been shooting 3" shells. You can't go wrong with any 870, but the super mag will give you the 3 1/2" option.

If you think you'll ever want to shoot 3.5's, then buy the Super Mag. Otherwise, hey - as long as you're buying an 870, you can't go wrong. In my opinion its the best pump gun you can buy right now.

No the express is the one with a 28 in barrel and 3 in chamber... the Super Mag is of course 3 1/2

I won a Super Mag 870 at last years DU event and shot it almost the whole season. It is a pretty good gun. Killed alot of ducks and geese with it last winter. Didn't turkey hunt with it though. I only shoot 3's at ducks and 3 1/2's for thunder chickens and I don't like to shoot steel thru my turkey guns. Just a pet peev of mine I guess.
