A lot of variables in that question. What if you've been shielding your farm from meat hunters for the last 5 years? And say you yourself have been limiting yourself to one mature kill per year.
Say also, what is the geographic, topographic and land-use classification of your hunt property? 200 acres of scrub, brush, thickets and hardwoods with available mast. You might have 10 mature bucks wandering that land.
Now if the opposite is in effect: such as you got some guys think that donating 10 kills to habitat for the hungry is going to secure themselves some sort of gold crown in heaven and you have flat land with not much in available preferred habitat, then certainly you might only have one or zero mature bucks.
You have to try to really to a hands on/trigger off approach if you want to hold deer on a small parcel like what you describe.
