down in the bottoms of t- county
you hear a turkey gobbing either on the roost or just flew down not quit sure. he would gobbled 4or5 times at an owl hoot so i got about 100-150 yards from him and set up made a few calls just some yelps nothing to fancy .
and nothing that gobbler never said another word at anything i stayed set up for an hour and a half making some yelps , nothing
i did spook some deer in the woods that ran the same way he was gobbling from
what happened do you think cause ive been dealing with this a lot.

there was no way he could have seen me , he was across some cut over in some woods and i was on the other side of the cut over in some woods .

i am starting to really think it was the deer that ran his way that made him shut up

went back at dark and didnt hear him on the roost , so i dont know!
