What damage can be done?

I got a dessert tan stock on a vanguard 7mag. Its the base model vanguard. I seriously thinking of spraying the stock ONLY into a shotty camo. Can I damage the functionality of the gun?

I've painted a few, just make sure you degrease it and use a paint that is for plastic. I usually put a clear sealer coat on when I done, flat sealer not shiny.

Shouldn't hurt functionality at all. Take the stock off first of course.

no, just prep good.
disassemble, clean with rubbing alcohol, tape off what you don't want sprayed, scuff, clean with rubbing alcohol, clean with rubbing alcohol again....spray and let dry.
