So I went out for the daily inspection of the garden and I noticed one of my cucumbers I was gonna leave for one more night had been hacked and slashed. I know I have rabbits in the area but I don't think they are to blame on this one. Upon further looking it snagged a tomato as well.

I know squirrels have a knack for tasting several tomatoes rather than eating just 1. They may need to go.

and when it gets real dry with no rain, deer will mow down some tomato vines, tomatoes, bell pepper plants, bell pepper and cucumbers. they will pretty much eat all of the high water content vegetables. i had this problem when i lived in the city when all the creeks would dry up.
