what choke

New toy a 410 with Full,Mod.,and IP. I am thinking full for squirrels. Does this sound about right. I haven't hunted with a 410 since I was a young teenager. Just going backwards in my old age. Also been looking around for some 410 3in. #5 shot.

You definitely want a full choke but i would try to find some 6's. Too few shot in 5's IMO especially in a .410. If you've got short timber and primarily grey squirrels, 7.5's would even be ok.

.410 three inch is basically the same thing as a 28 gauge

I'd shoot 5 or 6 shot through a full choke. Squirrels are tough and bigger shot will carry through better than small shot. Nothing worse than chomping pellets.
