125 grain Spitfires worked for the wife and I opening day. Mature doe and a Spike. Neither went out of sight after the shot.
Shot placement is more important than the broadhead used.

Forgot to mention. The 100 grain Thunderhead broke through the front leg of the deer, cut the heart down the middle and came out the belly. It was a fawn but still, the thunderhead is bone breaking.
