What are these for? Summit Viper SDX

Got a viper SDX in the mail today and didn't recognize what these are for and it doesn't say in the book. Thought maybe for the open ends of the stand but I'm not sure they'll fit unless maybe I just really force them hard. Any ideas? My stand was also missing the pieces to install the stirrups so guess I'll have to figure that one out. Thanks

Looks like caps to plug holes............but I cant see the bottom view.
