DaveB said:I was laughing very hard as I read the posts trying to get you to open them up or use as camo. That color, looks like black ink turns blue.....stains for like 3 weeks. Its permanent on clothes.
tried this one time, let them cure 4 weeks, they smelled just as weird as they did when fresh, taste weird, I dont like em. Prefer hickory nuts to almost anything else in the woods.Bayou Buck said:Looks like a black walnut and no. Bt if you get the walnut out, dry it,and crack it with a hammer, you can eat it.
when I see em on the ground and they are orange or purplish, and very soft, they seem to be ready.Poser said:I ate a Persimmon from Buck Wild's lease last week and it tasted fine, but I tried one at Hatchie today and phew.... not ready yet!
