Whale tail ?

I have a 2014 Yamaha 25 hp engine.
From the description I guess it will fit?
I just thought I would check with the experts here and make sure I ain't missing anything obvious.

Looks like it'll fit to me. You going with the drill attachment kind over the kind that mounts with a bracket.

Had a inboard ski boat once that had one of the earlier ones on it. I hit a log with the edge of the whale tail and it broke off part of the cavitation plate that it was bolted to. So the bracket model Hduke86 mentioned might not be a bad choice.

I used the Attwood hydro stabilizer. Amazon mid 30 dollars. I didn't want to drill any holes. Just in case I didn't like it
