Every oak I looked at (red & white) are covered up. Has been 3 years since we had a decent crop in Wayne Co. Last year was total failure, not even a hickory nut...

I'm seeing acorns, but not like that. Reds are very thin, whites spotty with a few trees fairly loaded. Only time (and summer rains) will tell what we have in fall. Whites were loaded last year at this time, but summer drought killed them all.
 
Hoping that with the El Niño we'll have more moisture this summer than we've had the past 3
