Well, apparently from all the pics showing up, the rut is starting to really pick up in the NW to middle portion of the state. That's just an observation from here and from others that have texted me. Living in the SE portion of the state, over the years I've found that the pre rut starts at the end of Oct, give or take a week, and the chasing really ramps up the first week or two of Nov. Peak breeding, at least in my area, seems to be the first thru 2nd week of Dec. So it's time to be in the woods, in a nutshell. ;)
