Were's a good place local or mail order to get Apple trees, and Shrubs for cover and browse ?
Planning on doing some plantings this coming year, and trying to nail down a few places to pick up several Apple trees, Persimmion, and Several shrubs like Nine bark, Serviceberry, Silky Dogwood, and any others ya'll reccomend !

Any places local that deals in any of these plantings ?

Also considering adding some Pine, and Cedars as well being our property is almost void of any evergreens except on a few field edges, Any reccomendations here as well is appreciated !

Thanks !!!

Mac I got mine from TN Forestry. I had to by 500 pines but the fruit trees I only had to buy like 150 or 200. The price was right also. Might check into it.

The Tennessee Department of Forestry has bare root seedlings available for a very reasonable cost and they are raised in Tennessee which helps survival. Google "tennessee department of forestry seedling catalog" and it will be there.

The Missouri Department of Conservation also sells bare root seedlings of the type you mentioned. I am going to order some. they generally cost $8 for 25 wildlife seedlings and they do sell to Tennesseans.
