Me and Hunter0925 went out to some public land on the river by boat. Saw a couple deer, but it just wasn't meant to be. I brought the wrong rifle somehow, but it didn't matter in the end as the 6.5G did just fine on this guy. Probably the prettiest yote I've ever killed.

That is a good looking yote. I've got a black one and a red one running together. I'd like to double up on them one morning and will probably do a full mouth on both.

Gotta say that I'm very impressed with the efficiency of the pipsqueak cartridge. Does great on deer on down. Only reason that I was not planning to take it was because I'm wanting to test the new loads that I've developed in my .270 Win on a couple of deer before taking it out west next fall. I'm sure that they'll work, but I want to see how they'll react when I hit shoulder
