It was great to get out and shoot the 12 gauge for a while. I figured out pretty quickly I prefer the 2 3/4 inch slugs and buckshot instead of the 3 inch. Those 3 inchers kick like a mule. :eek:
I did ok with the buckshot, but didn't do too well with the slugs. I only hit the target once with the slugs, the other times I shot below the target...not sure why. :confused: A few shots of buckshot also went just below the target. I shot from a standing position, standing about 10-15 yds from the target. Maybe I was aiming too low.
Maybe I just need to practice more, I don't shoot the shotgun as much as I should. :crazy:
