Me and 3 other friends went to Turner Game Birds in Covington yesterday. We had a blast.
The way it works is when you get there they release the birds out in their fields, and then after a bit you start hunting.
One of my favorite parts of the hunt was watching the dogs work, it was my first time seeing that in person.
Another fun part was having the birds flush from nearly under our feet a couple of times.
Out of 16 birds released the 4 of us shot 17, I'd say we did alright!
The owner/guides were great guys, and it was a great experience!
Got 4 birds in the freezer, just have to figure out how to cook them.
