Crazy the difference a day makes. Deer were pretty active this morning. Saw a few different bucks chasing does but no shooters. I took the long way back to the ranger and about halfway spotted a doe about 75 yards. I knelt down and she moved into the weeds, this 8 pt came trotting behind her and I had to make a split second decision- I stopped him and shot ,
"Didn't go 20"
I'm super happy with the shot I made on one knee in the open field.
Glad I spent so much time on treestands and blinds lol . Grandson thought it was pretty cool. I'm glad to kill 2 but kinda sad it's over for me, might be able to get my wife to go once or twice.
