With the exception of carrying Bobby G's son next weekend on the juvy hunt and if we get in on a snow goose hunt somewhere.... it is over.

Finished with a rather anti-climatic hunt.
Never fired a shot.

From a numbers standpoint it was laughable to the pros out there but I bet nobody had any more fun than we did.

Couple of the cool points were MAN killing his first pintail that actually had a double sprig too and I killed my first redhead.
Tried fried biscuits for the first time, WOW ! Thanks kenbob :)

Spent alot of hours with great friends and with my son.
Spent ALOT of hours wet to the bone.

Put out 1,000 decoys, picked up 1,000 decoys.
Put out about 900 decoys, picked up about 850 decoys.
Ended up with about 100 decoys in the hole, the rest were in my shop..... again. :)

Did ALOT of puddle jumpin traveling hunting.

Oh well, now the fun begins, trying to store all this crap till next year. :D

We picked up 300 decoys today and pulled 2 skid blinds out of the rice fields. I hunted 42 days this year----I am tired and a LOT of gear needs fixing and cleaning. Finally washed my truck this afternoon! But…..I enjoyed the fellowship and we killed a few birds so I am looking forward to next season already.

After a few days of rest we may take on the snow geese. They are thick here in the delta right now.
