I did the exact same thing! I gave in and bought the Endeavor. I just sighted mine in today. I use 110 grain Triple 7 w 250 gr Hornady sst. Shoots like a dream!

I love my encore. I shoot 240-grain XTP's pushed by 100 grains of 777 (2 50-grain pellets). Deadly combination.

with the .243 on it.

I have Pro Hunter, but not in muzzleloading version. I have in a .280 cal. and a rifled slug barrel. It took me several years to save up the money to buy one, but sure am glad I made the purchase.

I noticed in Gander Mountain at a store in Wisconsin they have these guns for sale for 700. To much money for me right now. But a very nice looking gun and feels good.
