I worked all day Saturday and Sunday, 2 different jobs and it must have worn me out. This morning it took me 2 snooze button times to realize I was supposed to get up and hunt. I use my phone as an alarm clock and it sits on a shelf 10 feet from the bed, so I got out of bed twice to hit snooze before I was awake enough to remember what I was doing.
So I got to the woods, not the original place I had planned due to lost time. I sat on the ground and slept through most of the morning. I woke up a few times to watch and listen to all the squirrels but kept falling asleep an finally woke up at 9 am and got up to stillhunt a little. I guess on the bright side I found a red oak that seems to be getting hit good by the deer.
Anyone ever had those mornings when you sleep through most of the prime time for seeing deer?
