My first order came today.
SOMEHOW I ordered traps without friggin rubber jaws.

Sheesh.

Oh well, I am sure they will make it right.

You could always just go across the border and trap KY with those traps.

Just called them and told them I apparently ordered the wrong traps.

Just gotta send them back and they will credit me towards something else.
I gotta pay shipping both ways, but I figure that's fair since I screwed up. :D

Nice guy from what I gathered from talking to him.

Hey Ruger....are you sure it was your mistake?

I will not order from FNT ever again. I used to order from the exclusively. But they make mistakes....a lot of mistakes. I think the most ever in one order was 5. They normally would make it right....except the last time. Had a chat with on of the owners (Shawn) and after that I'm done with them. One time they sent me the wrong traps, I took pics. They sent me a pickup lable. A few days later the replace traps came....same wrong traps.

I have put in many many orders with MTP, and they have never made a single mistake.

I've had the same problem with MTP, order something and never get a email confirmation or tracking number then all of a sudden 2 weeks later my package arrives. Never had that problem with FNT. I ordered 1/2 doz. Bridger #1.65 RJ 4 coils in 2014 just for fox and bobcat and several other things, the next day Shawn called me saying they were out of stock on the #1.65 and would I care if they replaced them with some #2's for the same price. I got a better trap IMO than what I ordered for the same price as the #1.65. For me FNT gets my money, nothing wrong with MTP especially Tim's baits which I do use.

No experience with F&T.
I have had good luck with MTP though. The black trap wax I ordered had an odor, and they just credited me back and didn't ask me to return it. They went above and beyond.

My trapping buddy in Lobelville is a dealer with Sterling, so my last order was with him when he put together a big wholesale order. The wholesale prices on traps are not a huge amount less, but every bit helps.
