I don't pay too much attention to weight. I don't have but one that is real heavy. I pay more attention to barrel length in ladder stands and thick cover. I have a Win 94 carbine in 30-30 that I use for these setups.

My Kimber Montana in .308 with a Leupold VX-2 2-7x33 with Talley LW mounts is 6lb 1oz. This is by far my lightest rifle. Most of my hunting rifles are 7-8 lbs all up.

I only have one rifle that weight is an issue, all others are all about the same. The feel, balance, and accuracy is what build confidence.
So to answer your question, it's not what I look at as the most important pro in my rifles so I have never weighed them.

the rifle i use the most is this ultra light arms model 20S chambered in 25x47 . this rifle is a single shot bolt action topped with leupold VX3 in 2.5-8 compact
all ready to carry sling/rifle/scope/base and rings it is 5 lbs 1 1/2 oz

Cool rifle and even neater round. Never seen a .25x47 lapua but love the concept

sorry for that my bad for not listing it. my rifle is a 25x47 which is a 222 rem mag [ 204 ruger also ] necked up to .257. this is not the 25x47 lapua

Not sure of the weight but my lightest, easiest to tote around bolt gun is probably a Model 7 7mm-08 with a 2.5-8 VX3. Still haven't shot a deer with it.
