Since we have'nt had any cool weather to knock back weeds, my field are getting some tall broadleaf in them, you think bushhogging will be a good idea? Or wait on frost?
 
It depends on how much shade the weeds are throwing. You can hurt your wheat if you throw too much thatch on it by mowing right now too.

Mine have some weeds too. Tender young native browse will get eaten right along with the wheat. It don't have to look good to be effective . I'd leave it alone.
 
Unfortunately mine has a lot of crappy Johnson grass coming up in it. That stuff gets tall quick!
