Weaver 3x9x38??

Think i got a pretty good deal on a weaver scope today, its a 3x9x38 in excellent condition no ring marks very clear and bright,anyone had any good luck with weaver scopes,likes or dislikes? How are they compared to nikon,leupold also had my eye on a pentax 3x9x40 or a redfield revolution which would you choose for a 7mm08,
200 yards or less shots??

Any of them will work fine for what you are asking..........

Leupold would be the top of the line, then probably Nikon & Pentax, then Redfield & Weaver.

It will probably all boil down to money anyway, so buy what you can afford.

I just got a redfield 3x9x40 and put it on the R-15 I like it but have'nt got to hunt or really test it out yet.
