I was looking at the wind for this coming week and according to weatherbug in the Fancy Farm KY area it is showing the wind out of the NE on Tuesday but on Wed. that afternoon being out of the South.

How true you rekon that is?
I really need it to blow out of the South on Wed. :D

The GFS models suggest wind out of the ENE on Tuesday switching to the South early Wednesday (by daylight).

This thread is still worthless without the pic of that buck that you are trying to kill with that south wind. :) :) :)

The last two seasons have brought this wind direction and it is weird.............we used to have predominant w nw winds much of the fall but as I said above the past two seasons had a lot of ne type winds and that is strange. What up with that?

A year or two ago it seemed every day was a NE wind.

As often happens, a particular weather pattern will "stick" for the meteorological falls months of September, October, and November. That predominant weather pattern will produce the same winds day after day. What year was it that we had the hot temperatures and super strong winds out of the south and southwest almost every day of November?

Repeated cold front passage would produce predominant winds out of the NW. We used to get that a lot in November, but not much in recent years.
