When they cut 1/3 of our timber off of our lease 4 years ago I knew this day would come. Had to deal with 3 straight years of corn and am excited to see what this season holds. Pulled some cards today and got more pictures of bucks than ever before. I attached a few of the heavier horned pics but none of these deer look mature to me. Am I crazy? ( sorry the quality isnt good)

It certainly takes time. I think the last 2 pics are of the same deer. Looks like you have a good gene of brow tines there. Should only get better

What was the concern with the timber harvest? And I assume the owner was the one planting corn?

No my lease is owned by an investment group that bought bulk acreage for pine plantations. A large papermill in Alabama closed which has prompted the group to convert viable ground to rowcrops.
