Does wavey vanes affect accuracy?I have the hostage arrow rest on my bow and I heard that they cause wavey vanes. And what would cause your arrow to spiral while its flying down range.I mean I know they spin, but everynow and then i get one that spirals while flying toward the target.could it just be that one arrow or wavey vanes?

Use a hair blow drier to straighten them out.

I got tired of the wavey vanes and began shooting
Carbon Expres Maxima Hunters with 2" Blazers.

I shoot through a QAD.

Now all my arrows stay in good condition.
Expensive, but worth it.

I would think there is no benefit from wavey vanes. How could one be consistant with the other?

Im no expert, but wavey vanes don't improve arrow shots IMO.

I've never noticed a difference in flight. If you arrows are "spiraling" you have other issues. You may not be getting good clearance off your rest causeing your erratic arrow flight and may be causing your "wavy" vanes as well.

Boil some water in a pot and dip them in it. Or use a hair dryer.

Radar, you may be correct. I am not a bow hunting expert by any means.

I just like the 2" Blazers because they keep from getting wavey, and I like that.
