Well the time has came. Dad and mom got into them last week...they've been fishing for them the last couple of weeks and haven't done any good then all of a sudden...BAM...they're there. I'm going with them Tuesday evening so hopefully there will be some good action for me to get into.

I didn't do so well Tuesday. Caught one 12 pounde rockfish and a few small catfish. They are here today and gone tomorrow...cruising fish. I think the big cats are still on the beds and rockfish just ain't in numbers like they once were. There's a lot more fishing pressure on them and these fish have a high mortality rate if you're not handling them correctly. They fight til they are almost dead anyway. So it's important to handle them very little and be quick about getting them into the water.
