I have a book written by Amish growers from several different states. They all say Sangria is their favorite and their customers ask for them by name every year.

last year we had a volunteer watermelon come up, so we left it alone, watered it often and kept the weeds away. well it grew and grew and grew. the first mellon weighed 37 pounds and the second was 32 pounds. u talk about some good melons. i sure hope some more come up this year

always heard the volunteer one make better melons than ones you plant
