read an article about placing these little water ponds like walmart and tracter supply sells out for deer. what do you'll think? we have an 1100 acre lease in overton co. and water was scarce during early season.

yes it works...I have a friend who regulary kills a deer over a kiddy pool during bow season.

I'm putting some ponds I. With dozer this winter just blade width wide and about 15 ft long. Helps all kinds of wildlife...so ky pays for them

I watched several deer this year water at the ponds I built during the summer. I also saw a few deer hit ponds during the peak of the rut when they were running does hard, despite a recent rain.

If your property has no water sources, creating a few will do nothing but good in dry years. In wet years, they may not utilize them... but as of late, I'd be willing to be next summer/fall will be dry yet again.
