I have a question about wasting of deer that are killed. I try to always salvage as much meat as possible my kills, but have seen all to often hunters only getting the racks of their animals or sometimes only the backstraps. If these deer are killed legally on private land and tagged in, is it breaking the law to dispose of a nearly untouched deer carcass? I feel as though it is morally and ethically wrong, just did not know how it was viewed from a legal standpoint. From what research I have done, the only wanton waste regs pertain to WMA land.
