While scouting , putting up stands and even hunting, take a spray bottle with cold water in your cooler and every so often, take it out and wet down your head and face.....

Must be different out there in West TN! Around here this time of year, between humidity, water on undergrowth, and perspiration, the only way to have more water on your head would be to go for a swim!

it's about the cold water, hence the cooler,,,,,,
I've never tried hot water...lol.

I am a sweater, so ten minutes after leaving the truck, I'm soaked..

But, that little spray on my face and head helps a great deal...

Gotcha! When scouting, I am usually away from the truck for several hours at a time, so I missed the cold part of it.

I guess I do kind of the same thing, actually. I often freeze my Camelback so that it melts while I hike and work in the tree.
